A set of talks to help inspire and motivate teams in a workplace environment. They are aimed at: Business and organisations of all sizes.

The Importance of verbal interactions in the workplace

Talk #1 – The language of the workplace

Who this talk is for

For any workplace across any industry or sector.

The talk shows workplaces how to develop a positive culture among the workforce without making huge wholesale changes to the business.

It looks at the small gesture of a single word and shows how it can be used to galvanize an entire workforce right from the shop floor to the boardroom.

The talk aims to shift the focus back to you and what you can do to change things for the better.

What the talk covers

Sometimes one changed word in a sentence can change the whole environment.

Over time these small changes have a hugely positive effect on the working culture of your company.

This talk explores the idea of changing small interactions in order to build a tidal wave of positivity in your working environment.

work consistency

Being consistent in your behaviours

Talk #2 – Consistency with or over hard work

Who this talk is for

Any workplace team or individuals.

The talk aims to get people thinking about the value of consistency. It asks the question what is more important hard work or consistency?

The talk is for anyone that is looking at big tasks and wondering how they can achieve such a lofty goal. This will show you it can be done.

What the talk covers

Working together we will explore the idea that whatever you want to achieve it can be done using consistency and goal setting. Coupling all of this with hard work, the talk shows how even the loftiest of goals can be within reach.

Within the talk, I use real-world and very personal examples of how this methodology really works.

The talk can be tailored to suit any department and can be expanded into an interactive session as needed.

stress talk

Learning to remove toxic managerial languageĀ

Talk #3 – Managerial speak

Who this talk is for

Any workplace team or individuals within the workplace.

The talk aims to get people thinking about the language used when we speak to our employees.

The talk is for anyone that is looking to improve their workplace. From managers to improve their speaking ability to employees who want to spot a toxic culture.

What the talk covers

Based on my own experience of working under toxic conditions I have created a talk to help us understand our managerial language.

The talk looks into examples of toxic language and how we can change that in order to create a more empowered culture.

We also look at it from the aspect of the employee and how they can spot the signs of a toxic manager.
