Sanjay has supported the delivery of numerous career events in Derby schools over the past few years. Sanjay is a confident facilitator and really good at engaging young people from varying backgrounds.
Through the delivery of E4E workshops, he has supported many young people develop their careers awareness and employability skills.
I had the pleasure of inviting Sanjay from Notepad Wisdom to Leicester College to deliver a series of sessions on mastering interview techniques to our 16–18-year-old students. There were some great insights, and it was a very enjoyable experience. Sanjay had a great rapport with the students who actively participated throughout the sessions. Even our staff members in attendance found the talks to be highly informative.

Sanjay visited E2 in April to support our Year 10 and 11 students in developing essential interview skills and boosting their confidence. His session was not only practical—packed with useful “cheat codes” for real-world scenarios—but also genuinely inspiring.
What really stood out was how real Sanjay was with the students. He spoke their language, met them where they were, and created a space where they felt seen and heard. His ability to connect on their level made a noticeable impact, encouraging even the quietest students to open up and engage.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive—not just from staff, but from the students themselves, many of whom asked if Sanjay would be coming back. They clearly enjoyed the session and valued his presence, which speaks volumes about the connection he built in such a short time.

Sanjay has provided an extra element/layer to our schools resources with helping some of our pupils to deal with wider modern day society issues through mentoring sessions. Sanjay has done one to one sessions with some of our pupils and has provided them with support and guidance to help them make better and more informed choices and decisions.
Our pupils have responded very well to these sessions as they feel they can relate to Sanjay and that he also connects with them in a way that they often find hard to do with other adults in the school environment.
As a school, we will look to continue to work with Sanjay to help support our pupils in a way that we often can not do with them, his work has been highly appreciated by the school and, more importantly, by the pupils he has seen.
